Today on the podcast, we're going to talk about Levion Bell's contract negotiations

and the reports now from the NFL network that he wants $17 million a year on average

for the length of that contract.

Talk about what that means for the negotiations and whether or not a long-term deal can

even be reached at this point.

We'll also talk about the new blow to the head or leading with the head rule.

The NFL, I think, is making a big mistake here with another rule that they're

trying to, again, protect players and get concussions out of the game and all of that. But

I think this is a massive misstep by the NFL and just another example of, you know, a bit

of how out of touch they are with the sport that they are in charge of.

But let's begin today.

I want to talk about the NFL draft and what we're going to be doing on this podcast going

forward because again, you know, now it's getting late in the week, right?

We're on Thursday.

Beginning next week, I think I want to transition this podcast from being what has been

more of a news and notes,

kind of news of the day podcast to being much more about analyzing players and getting ourselves

ready for the NFL draft.
