We're back on the locked on Steelers podcast, and boy, do we have a lot to talk about today.

The Steelers fall 27, 24 to the New England Patriots, perhaps only on the scoreboard, as it seemed on the field,

the Steelers did enough to win the game.

But is it a bad rule?

Is it a bad call?

The Jesse James touchdown overturned, and then Ben Rothsperger makes a poor decision to force

a ball into coverage at the end of the game that's intercepted by New England needlessly.

So there was, first of all, before we get into this, there was plenty of, I mean, the

Steelers can point to themselves is the reason they lost this game for sure, because

the opportunities

were plentiful. There were poor coaching decisions. There were missed opportunities by players.

And you really, those things get magnified against New England. You can get away with them

against Indianapolis and you can get away with them against Cincinnati and some of the other

teams at the Steelers play. Can't do it it against knowing it you can't drop an interception

with the game in the line um you know you can't force a ball into coverage like that in the end

so the Patriots are going to make those plays and you'll have some penalties that even though

you stayed mostly mistake free the entire game that's all it takes against the Patriots is those

little things um they don't do them the Patriots. And I thought that the Steelers

played a really good game for the most part, though. And that deserves to be, that deserves to be

talked about, to be recognized. And I thought that they did enough to win the game. So we'll just

talk about the Jesse Jam catch right off the bat. To me, the worst part about it, everyone knows the rule is bad. And the

Steelers wouldn't be the first team to get screwed over by the rule. It's the fact that not,
