Hello everybody, how are we doing? It is Lockdown a Raiders podcast with Bill Williamson for Friday, August 12th.

Happy season, everybody. 2016 is upon us, kind of. It's just a preseason, but the Raiders are playing football today.

And I got a question for the Raider Nation.

You guys put on all your goods today?

Are we going to have some face painting?

Are we going to have full regalia?

Is there going to be some parties?

I bet there's some.

I know you guys.

I bet there will be.

I know it won't be like in four weeks when the Raiders are in New Orleans,

and many of you will be there. I am sure I'd love to be there. I've been to a Raider New Orleans

game before. It's a lot of fun. A little extra because of the Raiders are in town, and, you know,

Raider fans are Raider fans 24 hours a day. So I have great memories of that. We're going to get really going on that in a few minutes

on this first preseason game. And again, my take on the preseason, it means nothing as far as

wins and losses. It's just work for the starters. It's trying to impress coaches in getting

jobs for the young guys, the guys that aren't in solid footing,

and the main priority for the coaches, and believe this, take this to the bank.

It's not to get any injuries.

That's what the coaches want.

If you ask Jack Del Rio right now, hey, coach, did you like to spank the Cardinals today,

a Super Bowl contender, or come out with just, you know, a reasonable amount of just bumps and bruises?
