further ones going forward. I'll tell you more about them later. But right now, we've got to get to

my buddy Mike Sando. He joins us every Thursday. Mike, how are you? I'm doing well. How you doing, Matt?

I'm swell. Last week, we touched on the Russell Wilson situation, and your neck of the woods seems to be escalating.

And I think it's something we need to discuss.

Yeah, it's all anyone talks about here in Seattle.

I mean, geez, I was talking to somebody yesterday who does a, you know, does a radio show in town and he was like,

God, good thing the Mariners are hot, because otherwise it would be literally 25 hours a day, Russell Wilson,

when there's nothing really going on.

Is that the story, though, that there's nothing going on? I mean,

it just seems to me that the team should have come out by now and say, we have every intention

of signing him, he's our man, we're in love with them. The quietness is a little concerning

or a little odd. Yeah, yeah. I think what we need to see is once there's, you know,

media opportunities with the head coach and that type of stuff.

I feel like right now there's a little bit of jousting going on between the team and the agent, right?

And those relationships can feel personal sometimes.

And I think that, you know, from the team standpoint, the agent's trying to stir stuff up.

And from the agent's standpoint, hey, this is Russell Wilson.

You need to be doing something.

So that's why that April 15 deadline got out, you know, I think it made it a story.
