Well, hello. I am Matt Williamson. This is the Lockdown NFL podcast. I am at Williamson

NFL, a little coppillar at the beginning. And here's the story. I'm going to pull back the curtain here for a little bit. I thought I was going to have a guest today.

And I both try to do more of those down the line. That's always fun to talk to another human being. But that didn't pull through. And I went to my old employers at ESPN.com, and I noticed

on the front page of their NFL page, not to promote them, but they had all their

sports nation writers pick awards for per division.

And purposely, I didn't click on them because i didn't want to see what they

had to say so i'm like oh that's a good idea just an impromptu maybe we'll have like a 15-minute

podcast today and a couple minutes ago i went division by division just off the top of my head

and i took an offensive player of the year, a defensive

player of the year, and a rookie of the year.

Didn't care about either side of the ball, just one rookie of the year.

And some of these divisions were tough, you know, that some of them was like, man,

I'm really struggling to find somebody.

I thought about, like, coach of the year, but there's only four to pick from, and it

was, like, probably going to pick the guy that wins the division.

You know, I mean, and I wasn't in the mood for comeback player of the year and all these

different things.

So here's what I came up with.

I thought it'd be kind of fun.

And AFC East, I think you have to think Tom Brady.

I mean, he is a very good chance to win the MVP this year.

I think Tom Brady's an easy choice.
