Over the weekend, the Lakers bought out Lou Waldang and will stretch the remaining two years and 36.8 million dollars left on his contract.

According to reports, Dane gave up $7.5 million and could possibly make that up by signing elsewhere,

the buyout effectively gives the Lakers enough cap space to sign a max salary free agent

to pair with LeBron next summer, and already there are rumors that the Lakers could be targeting one Kevin Durant.

Look, maybe it won't be Durant, but with the way the Lakers have approached the

roster since signing LeBron filling it out with expiring contracts, now out Luoldang it's clear they're going to be in

the mix for one of next year's big names I love what the Lakers are doing uh David at least

right now they're setting themselves up maybe not look they're not going to

compete against the warriors this year but they're setting themselves up to be in the mix

maybe next year or the year after that. Yeah, I think it's so interesting because a lot of people on the periphery
