Now that the Warriors season is officially over, it's draft season, and I'll have plenty of draft content coming your way between now and when the draft happens on October 15th.

So we went ahead and based the draft order on the standing.

So the Warriors have the number one pick, which we'll get to right now.

This is Wes Goldberg with Locked-on Warriors kicking off our Locked-on Podcast Network mock draft with the number one pick.

And look, the Warriors going into this draft are in a really interesting spot.

You kind of go through this rebuilding season, a loss season.

Steph Curry goes down in late October.

They end up having the league's worst record of 15 and 50.

They have a 14% chance of landing the number one pick, but a guaranteed chance at a top

five pick.

And in our mock draft here, they get the number one pick.

And with that, they have an opportunity not only to select a player who can contribute

right away to a team that hopes to be a championship contender as soon as next season again,

but also a player who may be able to sort of take the baton from Steph Curry a few years down the road.

Maybe could become the Warriors franchise player of the future.

And that's a lot of pressure for the Warriors.
