edition and Small Ball is breaking the NBA I'm not actually surprised by this

talking to Mike Dantoni and being around the rockets a few times since they've made this move.

I'm big into it.

But Memphis over the last 15 games was the number four defensive team in the league and they just allowed 140

points to the rockets.

Yeah, I don't want to take anything away from Houston at all because there's no question their

offense is clicking in a way that it has been previously.

But I do think this game says a little something about both teams.

If you look at Memphis, they're on the last night of a tough four game road trip.

They go O and four on the trip out of the break with losses to Sacramento, both LA teams,

and now Houston.

I thought at long stretches of the games against the Lakers and

the Clippers. I was out both of them. They looked like a shell of the team that we

saw earlier in the season. I think that to a certain degree, opponents have started to figure them out. I do think a lot of the veteran teams

are ramping it up here during the stretch run and I think some of that early season mojo and magic that they had going

has started to fizzle a little bit and if and along the way they

also lost garen jacks and junior to a knee spring as well which didn't hurt
