Janus is talking about getting a jumper. The Rockets and Clippers are looking to add to their

star-studded rosters and Team USA takes a hit for the upcoming World Cup.

But let's start in Los Angeles Angeles where Anthony Davis told reporters at his

introductory press conference that he would put the Lakers roster up against anyone. After

missing out on Kawai Leonard, the Lakers filled out the roster with guys like Danny Green,

Demarcus cousins, Ray Jean Rondo, Quinn Cook.

David, do you agree with Anthony Davis that the Lakers could beat anybody in a Best of Seven Series?

I think the bigger issue is whether or not they could beat anybody in a best of seven series. I think the bigger issue is whether or not they could beat anybody in that city within a seven game series.

I mean, at this point, you look across the way there at Staples Center and you look at the Clippers roster and they may have a better

roster than the Lakers do.

I can understand where he's coming from.

Like obviously it's an introductory press conference.

There's been this whole dramatic saga taking place over the last year basically where he's trying to get to this team and his agents forcing their way there and he's lost a lot of goodwill in the process and now that he's finally a laker he has to be encouraging he

has to be as optimistic as possible and I like the moves that they've made I know that

they were looking at a third superstar.

Didn't quite work out that way, obviously
