Smoking Cuban. Today I am not joined by my co-host Nick from Mabs Moneyball. If you're a regular

listener you know that he normally opens up this whole thing. Today he's taking a

day off as I am joined by one of my friends and employee of the Dallas

Mavericks Earl K. Sneed but before I get to him a few news and noteworthy things

from the past two or three days from over the weekend.

The Mavericks officially announced the signing of Brandon Ashley.

The details of the deal has not been released yet, but Ashley is not a new face to the organization. reasons ago and the group of camp invites with like Kyle Collingsworth and Keith Hornsby and some of those guys and so he obviously didn't make the team spent some time overseas and then came back and was on the Summer League team,

both Summer League, Orlando and Las Vegas for the Mavericks this past summer.

He played really well.

He seemed to build a chemistry with with Dennis Smith Jr.

And I don't know we look forward to seeing what it's going to be in camp. It could be a type of deal

to where he stays with the legends a lot or he could challenge you

know for that last roster spot that's open right now the 15th spot or maybe a two-way

spot we're unsure at the moment but he is signed and he will be in training camp this fall.
