Sending the Lions to 3 and 5, we are the official at the official halfway mark of the season.

And the Lions sit two games below 500, and on pace to go 6 and 10.

After today's pathetic performance at the hands of the Minnesota Vikings.

Man, oh man, what a bad performance today.

The Lions, once again, early, moved the football, got a couple of field goals in the second

quarter, actually went in at the half, trailing 17 to 6, but you had a feeling the game

was far from over, because for as poorly as the lions executed in the red zone,

for as poorly as the lions executed on special teams again with penalties,

and how bad the Lions looked tackling Delvin Cook, who had that 70-yard run which set up a score in the second quarter,

you figured that the Lions could make some adjustments at halftime,

get their protections straight because Stafford was getting destroyed, and come out in the third quarter and have a little juice.

And that was not the case.

It was 17 to 6 going to the fourth, but then all hell broke loose in that fourth quarter, including a Matthew Stafford attempted lateral on a weird scramble play where Carion Johnson wasn't ready for the play, or wasn't ready for the football, dropped it, DeNeal Hunter, who had an unbelievable game today, scooped and scored, and that did it for the Lions as they lost the game today by the

score of 24 to 9.
