The Niners hang on for a 30 to 27 win in what was a bizarre finish to this game, a lion-esque

As it appeared, the lions were going to steal one from Jimmy G. and company,

as Tracy Walker, the rookie, didn't even know he was on the field.

Picks off a pass, rumbles down the sidelines, down at about the five-yard line.

But with under two minutes to go with that play,

the officials call a defensive holding call on quandary digs against George Kittle, who was my key to

this game.

And the Lions actually did a pretty good job against Kittl today, nullifying that play,

giving the ball back to the Niners.

San Francisco subsequently punts. The lions come down the field. Matthew Stafford with a couple of passes over the

middle. Such gets him down about the 50 or so, but then on a third and two and fourth and two,

Stafford trying to hit Theo Riddick. Riddick drops a pair of balls and the Lions fall to O.N2.

And fans, as you know, teams that start off 0 and 2, 88% of the time do not make the playoffs.

And now, Detroit must come home to play on national TV next Sunday night against the Patriots

who got wallop today down in Jacksonville.

So a angry New England team coming to town to face your 0-2 lines on Sunday night.
