had a very interesting comment that he made, the Lions best defensive player, to Robert

Klemko of Monday morning quarterback and SI.com, and I think it's a little bit alarming,

and we'll get into that coming up in terms of something off the field with the Lions, but I want

to start today on the field, and I kind of want to piggyback off of something that I brought up today

on the radio this morning on Shep's radio show, and that's the following. We're getting close to the start of the season.

Folks, we're there.

We're getting there.

The team will all report to Allen Park a week from tomorrow for training camp,

which will open next Friday, July 27th.

That means everybody's in pads.
