Summary

In this episode, I share my notes on Denver's 114-104 win over the Dallas Mavericks. Gary Harris returned to the lineup and had a bit of bounce in his step. Will Barton also looked more like his old self than before, and Isaiah Thomas managed to score 16 points in 15 minutes. The Denver Nuggets looked like the deepest team in the NBA, capable of putting several different combinations of players on the court and playing at a high level. The team also managed to recapture the defensive intensity that they had early on in the season.  Lastly, I talked about Nikola Jokic's interview with Vic Lombardi in which he hinted that he'd like to be the Tim Duncan of the Denver Nuggets, spending his entire career in the Mile High City.  Learn more about your ad choices. It was a tough week to push out content for the Denver Nuggets since it was a practice only week. No games until Friday night. So I figure since we missed a little bit of time, we'll make up for a little bit of time and talk about this highly anticipated return to the hardwood of the Denver Nuggets. Return to the hardwood of Gary Harris. It was great to see him back out on the floor and looking well.

0:56.3

Look like he had a little pep in his step.

So this show will be my notes from that game.

Wanted to get all of the little details in there.

And so I got a lot to talk about there.

In the final segment, we'll talk about a Yokic quote. He wants to be the Tim Duncan of the Denver Nuggets. I think that's encouraging if you're a Nuggets fan. That's got

1:15.2

to be a good thing. It certainly sounded good to me. But let's start by diving right into this.

1:20.7

Malik Beasley got the start. And this is, you know, Gary Harris back. and I wonder when he will get his starting job back.

1:30.4

Obviously, this is a short-term thing, but the team will like to slowly work him back into the rotation.

1:37.3

My guess is the Nuggets have a four-game homestan.

1:41.1

I would guess that at some point in this homestand, Gary Harris will be back in the

1:44.8

starting lineup. And if everybody stays healthy, we'll get the return of the opening night starting

1:49.3

lineup for the first time since mid-October, which is insane. But for now, Malik Beasley gets the

1:54.6

start. And my first note was that Will Barton had a little bit of pep in his step. You know,
