a deep dive notebook episode. It's been a while since I've done a notebook episode of a Nuggets game.

It feels great. It feels really good to be back in the swing and doing this.

Some detailed notes on the rematcher, I guess, I guess the welcoming home party of Malik Beasley and Wancho Arna-Gomez.

The Timberwolves come into town, extremely short-handed, and the Nuggets win in a shootout.

This was a game that it felt like, you know, this was not a very good Timberwolves team

that was rolled out there.

No Carl Anthony Towns, no DeAngelo Russell.

Even with those guys, they haven't necessarily been like world beaters.

But you did get that revenge factor.

Malik Beasley, you could tell he wanted this one. You know, Wancho,

I think he was happy to be back, you know, very positive. He had some great things to say over

the weekend, you know, if you missed it, Wanchard and Gomez, there was a practice yesterday

before the game, or I guess this would have been now Saturday. And Malik Beasley was a little bit standoffish.

You know, he was a little bit short.

He didn't want to talk about Denver.

He said he was here on a business trip and he was here just to do business.

He wasn't particularly flowery.

I talked to some of the people in the Minnesota media and they were like,
