Summary

In this episode, I share my notes on Denver's win over the Miami Heat. The Denver Nuggets welcomed Paul Millsap back into the lineup, albeit off of the bench, and perhaps not coincidentally, saw their defense return to their early season form. I talk about the value Monte Morris brings to this team and why he might be Denver's best point guard right now, Malik Beasley's continued growth, Nikola Jokic's noticeable frustration, and much more.  Learn more about your ad choices. We got all kinds of videos up on YouTube today, post-game interviews with everybody, including Dwayne Wade, who I was surprised to see

0:38.5

with such a fan favorite, even at Pepsi Center today. I was kind of surprised. I'm going to talk

0:43.1

about that here in a little bit. Today's episode of the show is going to be on the win over the

0:48.3

Miami Heat, a nice bounce-back win for the Nuggets. Bounce back in a couple different ways. One,

0:53.0

they just needed to three-game losing streak.

0:55.6

You needed to get that bad taste out of their mouth.

0:57.8

But also they needed to play and win with their defense, which was something they did tonight.

1:02.6

So a good win for Denver, and there was a lot of interesting things.

1:06.7

Some days I come in, I have a handful of notes notes and I think, okay, a couple interesting things.

1:11.8

The Philly game, and I think this game both provided a lot of really fun notes, really interesting one, so excited to dive into that.

1:19.2

And then a couple other just kind of random notes about different things going on at the tail end of this.

1:23.5

But let's dive right into it.

1:26.1

Miami coming in, played last night in Golden State, had sort of a

1:30.5

heartbreaking loss, really had no business. I mean, Golden State a much better team than Miami,

1:36.8

but when you talk about that's about as far as a team can travel from Miami all the way to

1:40.8

Golden State. They're on a road trip, but just saying they're far from home.
