It is Friday and the first round of the 2019 NFL draft has concluded with the Buffalo Bill selecting Ed Oliver defensive tackle from Houston,

a scenario that I was not sure we would see play out and you guys know you've heard me talk about the

the 2019 NFL draft and the bills for a long time here and you've heard me say that I felt that defensive tackle was the biggest need on

this football team. The bills signed so many players to improve the offense, six

offensive linemen,

Cole Beasley, John Brown,

but I saw a glaring hole at that three technique position,

a critical position for Sean McDermott's defense and they solidify the spot with one of the best prospects in the entire draft being patient not trading up and letting Ed Oliver fall into their laps and

snatching him up with the number nine overall pick. We talked last week
