Just got out of the Bengals locker room where I talked with one of the newest members of

the Cincinnati Bengals, cornerback, C.J. Goodwin. You're also going to hear from

Von Tess Burfect, who returned to practice yesterday. I have breaking news. Marvin Lewis said

that he will not play on Thursday against the Bears at Paul Brown Stadium in preseason game number one.

I'll also let you listen to a little bit of Marvin Lewis. We won't play the whole press conference, but there'll be a snippet of it on today's podcast.

And let's start with what's going to happen 48 hours from now.

The Bengals are going to take the field at Paul Brown Stadium on the field I'm looking at right now

and it is all buttoned up and ready and it looks great and the sun is shining at least as of now

even though I saw some rain in the forecast.

And it's an exciting time because there are so many question marks that surround this team. And while I like the

wide receivers, that's a question mark. How's John Ross going to do? How's Josh Malone going to do?

How are all of these unknown, unproven commodities at the NFL level in the NFL going to fare

when they take the field.

Our first look is this Thursday at Paul Brown Stadium.

Now, there are plenty of question marks outside of just the wide receiver.

I think the biggest position group that people will be paying attention to is obviously the

offensive line and what happens there.
