I read this in The Ringer yesterday.

The Ringer wrote about Carlos Dunlap and about the Bengals potentially trading him since he's in the final year of his contract.

And with that, let's bring in Joe Goodberry.

Let's get his thoughts on it.

I wouldn't do it barring Joe, barring something unforeseen, a first-round pick or some

kind of crazy thing in return.

But when I say that, when I say that the ringer wrote about trading Carlos Dunlap, would

you do it?

Would you not do it?

And what would you be looking in return to get for a guy like Dunlap?

Well, my first question would be what's the compensation.

You know, are we talking a starter, maybe an offensive lineman?

Is it a defensive tackle, maybe a nosed tackle, a linebacker?

I don't know.

I really look at the roster and I say, I don't know what I would trade him for.

The replacement level of, let's say, Jordan Willis and maybe Sam Hubbard playing the left end

spot, I don't think it's a huge drop-off based on potential, but I think some of the top

five player on this team, and losing him in return, it has to be a first-round pick, in my

opinion.
