Hey Bengals fans, we're back. It's mock draft Monday.

There's a little bit of news for us to discuss before we get to the mock drafting fun.

We're going to do a five-round fan speak mock today with some updated big boards.

But first, a couple things to talk about.

One of them specifically pertaining to the Bengals is, you've all probably read this by now.

The Bengals made tenders to their exclusive rights and or restricted free agents.

They gave Trey Hopkins a second round tender,

meaning that if someone else tries to sign him away from the Bengals,

they would receive a second round pick in compensation.

That is an unlikely scenario, so it's somebody that they wanted to keep.

Besides that, we've got ERFA exclusive rights-free agent tenders given to Tony McRae, Alex Redman,

Josh Tupo, and Brandon Wilson.

All role players last year, in Alex Redmond's case, he started for most of the year.

And these guys all received tenders worth $645,000 apiece on a one-year deal.

Hopkins tender to keep him in this, to keep him and to get a second rounder for compensation

is worth just over $3 million, which makes him actually the 12th highest cap figure

for the Bengals in 2019 right now.

And the third highest paid offensive lineman, at least for a cap hit in 2019,
