Welcome on in Bengals fans for the next episode of Lockdown Bengals with Jake and Joe.

As always, we start with a little bit of news

around the NFL. Kareem Hunt signed a $1 million deal with the Cleveland Browns yesterday,

giving them a third running back and a pretty talented running back stable if they all stick

around. Of course, he goes back. He was drafted by John Dorsey. Joe, do we have many thoughts on this?

He's going to probably be suspended for a pretty sizable amount of time.

I think when they do this, it's because both sides trust each other, as far as you,

I guess as much as you can in this situation, right?

But you're right, because of Dorsey and Hunt's having previous relationship, he needs a

clean year of not getting in trouble, and then maybe have a little production towards

the end of the year, and he could get himself back in line to having a successful career again.

Otherwise, I'm not sure you had many opportunities out there. If you're taking a one-year

deal at a place that knows you, then he probably didn't have too many options. So for me,

I'm more look at it from the Bengals versus the Browns perspective of, I expect the Browns to

be better than the Bengals. I don't think that's unfair to say at this point.

And if the Browns are competing for a playoff spot in those final six weeks, it makes sense.

You can't predict injuries.

And while, yes, that gives them three good running backs.
