Just quickly wanted to apologize for anybody that had audio issues with the show yesterday.

We did find that we had uploaded the show in stereo when it should have been in mono. That should not be

an issue going forward. We also have heard your feedback about the volume disparity between

our recording and the advertisements that come on, and we will be hopefully getting some audio

consistency. But for today, we have a great

show for you. We'll quickly go through a couple of interesting news pieces. We'll talk about what a

win now plan might look like. And Joe got an interesting question on Twitter from Waldo Roran,

and he asked, essentially, what would break your Bengals fandom. We'll get into that.

But first, the news.

The athletics Will Salmon has reported this morning that the Bengals have formally requested

permission to interview Florida's Todd Grantham to be defensive coordinator.

Salmon says he appears to be a league candidate for the job. Last week, we heard that

the Bengals got permission to interview Aubrey Pleasant, but we haven't seen an update yet on how that went.

Grantham, currently at Florida, is one of the highest paid assistant coaches in college football,

earning nearly $1.5 million per year. Friend of the show, John

Shearren, over at Cincy Jungle, wrote that Grantham has several prominent coaching

trees in his background, including Nick Sabin, Wade Phillips, and Romeo Cornell. We
