Some quick little news bits before we get to Jeff Dini.

One was an interesting one, the recommendations for the

competition committee for the new catch rule in the NFL. It starts out really well.

Number one, control the ball. Okay, yeah. Number two, two feet down or a combination of other

body parts that equals two feet down and bounds. And, okay, yeah, obviously you need those two things. Number three, take a third step or reach the ball forward, or, and this is where it gets weird, have the ability to perform such an act.

So you got to do something else, which is basically, it's again,

it's that football move, which nobody can really define, which is where we get into all this trouble anyway

and one of the other things is when you look at any catch in slow motion the ball wiggles

slightly and all of a sudden it's not a catch and I don't think that's the way I don't think they should ever

look at a catch in slow motion so I don't know is it better maybe control two feet and

that that's it man I think that's kind of all they need one thing that has always

bothered me about the catch rule is the continuation of a catch out of bounds you know the

surviving the ground part and then when when guys go out of bounds
