No. Ruffan Hyanoah. Hi John, and senior writer Christine Rosen. And joining us for the

third time during our extended pandemic discussions. Andrew Ferguson, former

commentary columnist, now contributor to the Atlantic, former weekly

standard eye, one of my oldest friends, Andy. How was your on? Did you have a weekend?

Was there anything remotely weekend like about your weekend? Well, what I thought I would do

yesterday was to prove to myself that it was indeed a Sunday. I would go for a drive.

And so I got in my car ready to burn up my, you know, gases at a dollar 70 here.

Yeah. And I drove straight into a tsunami or a month soon or something like that.

So I turned around and I came back and then it just became another day,

indistinguishable from a Wednesday or a Saturday or Tuesday.

So we drove from Manhattan to Rockaway Beach in Queens, which is something that you fly over if

you land at the Kennedy Airport and walked on the beautiful, it's not really a boardwalk because

it's a cement, it's a, you know, it's a, it's like a pat out road, you know, except there are

on cars on it, a very wide, one-sport walk. Now, you know, concrete lane thing on the, on the ocean

with a very long, beautiful, large beach. And there was nobody there as it's supposed to be the

case, I mean, people going around. And so I took some pictures of my family. I took a picture of

myself on the beach, you know, and posted that picture on Facebook where upon I had people saying,

why are you wearing your mask on Facebook? And so I was, I was reminded of the
