on a veritable Pantechnicon of lies and embellishment, but only 62 of 230 councils have

thus far declared. You follow the trajectories. You listen to people like John Curtis and Andrew

Maugh, albeit that they draw their analyses from different wells. And is it Michael Thrasher?

I love the name Thrasher. Reminds me of school,

don't you know? Thrasher. Thrasher says we're going to be, all of whom are pretty much united in

seeing the trajectory end at a place that is about as bleak as was predicted in worst case scenarios

for Rishi Sunak's Conservative Party. You can tell how bad it is.

I don't know what you watch or listen to in the mornings.

I presume it's Nick Ferrari, but if it isn't,

you can tell how bad it is by one or two BBC presenters

struggling to hide their disappointment

and attacking Labour politicians who have the good grace to turn up in their studios.

That's always a fairly reliable indicator of how

badly it may have gone for the Tories. Lib Dems have had a good night, as you've just heard,

from Ed Davy, and will no doubt continue to do so. But it did strike me, largely because I

hadn't noticed until someone pointed it out to me that all of the analysis and all of the headlines that we are

currently sharing and examining are based on 62 out of 230 council so watch this space one thing

is clear well I can't say one thing is clear and then say oh well is it so is it? So one thing is clear, it's going badly for the current government.

And it's going about as badly as anybody predicted or expected.
