San Fernando Valley, this is post-mortem.

Just as there are societal classes in life, the same is true in movies.

At one end of the spectrum are the major studio behemoths,

Marvel franchise movies that cost hundreds of millions of dollars

and gross in the billions.

There are the theatrical indie companies that find great

success in cinemas with international and more modest budgets and themes,

companies like Searchlight, which is a part of 20th century Fox, Blumhouse, part of Universal, and Focus also

part of Universal.

Then there are the true independence that are unaffiliated with the big guys.

Bleaker Street A24 IFC, Neon, and Music Box. the big

guys, Bleeker Street, A24, IFC, Neon, and Music Box, all of whom have been able to get their movies

onto the big screens with a great deal of success.

Even Netflix and Amazon have found homes in cinemas with a select few of their movies.

Then come the films that go direct to video on demand or get sold directly to Amazon or Netflix or Hulu,

often to disappear without a trace. to independent theatrical features, especially in the horror genre, could be at an end?
