let's start the pod with Arsenal. There we go. Who would have thought it? You spoke to one

of their invincibles for the Athletic. Yeah, Freddie Lundberg, it was an absolute pleasure. Of course, he came back to Arsenal in 2018 to work with the under-23s, having been away working at Wolfsburg as assistant manager there. Prior to that, he'd been working with the even younger Arsenal players, I think the under 15s.

And it was all kind of Arsengar's plan to keep Freddie Lundberg progressing in his coaching

career and with that Arsenal connection.

Very quickly, he was promoted to the first team set up under Unai Emory in a swap with Steve

Bold, and he was seen as a conduit to help the young players like Bacayosaka making their way into the first team and also work with the experienced players, because he's got vast experience and pedigree and respect from his achievements himself. He then took interim charge, as we know, this time last year, when Emery was sacked. Results didn't really pick up, but he certainly brought smiles back onto faces,

a bit of a connection, a really good result away to West Ham.

He thought he was building something,

but he also says to me in the interview that we did,

that he kind of knew that he was only ever temporary.
