I'm Shna Alexander and this is the podcast so we talk through all of your problems and we give you our best

advice. Today we have the most fabulous Liz Plank with us to your to help with

your burning questions so Liz and I met not too long ago. What was it two months ago? Yeah around Christmas. Yeah. Oh and we met

wearing fancy pajamas at a very fabulous birthday party of Ronan Faro which sounds much more

boosy than it needs to be. It was. It was though okay okay let's not like

kid ourselves. Yeah it was pretty fabulous. But we were like the naughty kids at the

adult grown-out party like we kept running downstairs. Yeah and they were

taking shots and then they were playing very sensible music upstairs and we

asked them to play a lot of Beyonces so the

DJ was less than pleased. Ronan Faro was pleased and it was a lovely time but

we have a lot of mutual friends.

How do people know you?

I am a journalist. I am very interested in gender as a concept.

I have a master's in gender and social policy I've spent most of my career

writing and thinking about women and in the last few years I've been writing and thinking about men because they have a

gender too, even though we often leave that part out when we have conversations about gender.
