I'm your host, Chelsea Devantes, I am a writer, comedian, and filmmaker, and this week

we are book clubbing Liz Faire's memoir written in 2017 titled Horror Stories.

I think it is one of the greatest memoir titles yet, Horror Stories, and it definitely

lives up to its name, though possibly for different reasons than intended.

And we've been driving since noon, but if I'd known how that would sound to you, I would

have stayed in your bed for the rest of my life just to prove I was right, that it's

harder to be friends and lovers, and you shouldn't try to mix the two, because if you

do it and you're still unhappy, then you know that the problem is you.

That was Liz Faire's hit divorce song.

There were so many songs to choose from, and I was thinking about Supernova because that's

a huge hit for her, but I got a few messages from cookies about how much that song meant

to them.

So that is the one I wanted to play.

Liz Faire exploded onto the rock music scene in the 90s with her album Exile in Guyville,

written when she was just 23, and it was independently produced, and it shook up the boy's

world of music at the time.

And my guest today, discussing it all with me, is my friend and incredible powerhouse, Katie
