Deed, which I binged in like a week and absolutely loved around Christmas. She's won four Emmys

for writing Ellen's talk show. She's written for the Oscars. But I personally fell in love with her

way back when, when she was making fun of the Elbird. She was really,

truly one of us. Stars, they are just like us. That's very, very generous. Thank you.

Great. Awesome. It's been a pretty good week. Had a great lunch with my friend, my new friend, Lisa Kudra yesterday. Just to fucking name drop so hard. Did you hear that? It like landed like with a fucking clunk. I absolutely heard it.

But yes, we got to work together on No Good Deed. She's one of the stars.

She's unbelievable in No Good Deed. She is truly, she's just an incredible actor. And there are some

stars among us who when you see them and work with them

and get to, you know, really watch them inhabit a role, you're like, oh, that's why you're you.

You know, she, her character from the comeback, Valerie Cherish, was just, I think, number four on

varieties, 100 top characters

of the 21st century. And she was also on the list last century for Phoebe, you know,

deservedly so she's just sparkly. Did you, when, I know that like everything goes through

casting directors, but when you were conceiving no good

deed, were there any actors that you actually wrote this for?

You know, I always like to have an actor or actress in mind when I'm writing, but I don't

usually say who they are because it is, you know, it's like sometimes you have a person in mind.

And I wrote, uh, dead to me for an actor, you know, who didn't end up doing it. But I'm so glad

that I thought of her because it informed the, the character in a way that you would never
