how do they live with themselves?

The implication being if you did something like that, well, you wouldn't be able to live with yourself.

you never go there. And that's what we're talking about today, right here on your move.

So here's something we've all thought, and perhaps something at some point along the way you have said out loud, after someone was found out, you know, like every week, you know, somewhere in the news or whatever your news feed is, or whatever you look at, there's somebody who's found out. In other words, they had a secret. They had something going on in the background and now everybody knows. Or maybe it's someone in your personal life or in your family or somebody at work and they're found out. It's just, you know, suddenly it's been discovered that they've been living a double life. caught and when that happens and you get kind of the nitty gritty of the story and all the details, you've thought, or maybe you've even said to someone, how could they live with themselves?

1:38.8

I mean, how can you be this publicly and this privately?

How could they carry on for so long with that going on in the background? How could they carry on without melting down? You know, how did they keep up the charade? How, how did they live with themselves, right? Or how did they, you know, show up at church?

2:03.3

Or let me, you know, bring it into my industry.

2:06.1

How did they show up at church and preach and have that going on in the background?

2:11.0

Right?

2:11.2

I mean, there's been a few of those stories.

2:13.2

Because when the truth comes out, you know, when the story breaks and a family's devastated

2:17.8

and reputation is ruined and careers destroyed, we think, how do, how, you know, how could

2:24.6

they live with themselves?
