Over the years, I've been lucky enough to meet a variety of people who have established really close relationships with various other species.

And I don't think there's any better way of understanding another animal than actually by living with it, by forming that relationship with it.

Recently, I was up in a very remote part of one of the Angus Glens

talking to a lady called Amy Buckley.

Now, she used to be a falconer.

She doesn't do that anymore.

What she does do, however, is spend part of her life with a remarkable bird, a raven called Fable.

Okay, so we're going to come and meet a special friend of mine.

Her name's Fable, and Fable is a raven, who I've shared my life with for about eight years now.

And I've had her since she was 10 weeks old. So she was... How did you get her? So I used to run a falconry centre. I've been a

falconer for about 20 years and predominantly work with birds of prey. All sorts of falcons, hawks,

eagles, owls, vultures, the lot.

And I had my own centre down in England.
