0:55.5	The Samaritan woman said to him,
0:57.5	How is it that you a Jew ask a drink of me, a woman of Samaria?
1:02.0	For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.
1:05.3	Jesus answered her,
1:06.7	If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you, give me a drink, you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.
1:16.0	The woman said to him, Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw.
1:25.5	She just came for water. She wasn't interested in chatting with anyone, and much less with
1:30.4	the Jew. Yet Jesus was there because he was thirsty, not for water, but her soul. She wasn't
1:37.9	looking for Jesus, however. She wasn't interested in God, but God was interested in her.
1:46.5	See how Jesus made her interested in the conversation?
1:51.2	Jesus didn't start directly telling her that she was a sinner and needed conversion,
1:53.3	and to get rid of her fifth partner.
1:55.7	That wouldn't have had an effect on her.
2:00.6	Instead, Jesus started asking for something because he wanted to offer something. It looks like a good seller strategy.
