Morning everybody, welcome along to your free podcast for today. It's Monday the 10th of January.

Now, I've got to start with something I saw on the television. And it kind of, I remember thinking, how pretentious.

And you know what it was? I was watching Ballet.

I was watching Ballet from the Royal Opera House in London.

And I didn't have any problem with watching the Ballet.

I was all right with that, because I'm quite cultured.

I've been to these sort of places.

The funny thing is, what they do.

So they have a set piece and it goes

dance for a pre, it could be midnight or dream, it would dream actually as it turned out. So they come on

and there's about four men and four girlies who weigh about as much as a thimble. And they do their

little pirouettes. So they do their little pirouettes,

so they do a little dancing and it lasts for about 10 minutes

and then clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap.

So they all take their bows.

Okay, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, clap.

They all go off stage, then they come back on again and take more bows.

They do this four times. They're dragging this monstrous bit of dance out.

And so then the curtain comes down, da, da, da, da, da. What do they then do? They come out on stage again in front of the curtain.

And they then do another three bows in front of the curtain. We've had, there's about seven bloody bowing things going.

And I'm thinking, this is pretty, listen, I've seen Matthew Bourne's dance company every year for the past 10 years.
