Do you understand we could be that generation?

We could serve on the welcoming

committee for the Son of God. The next great thing on God's agenda, according to Scripture, is the

return of the Lord Jesus Christ for his church. That's referred to, of course, frequently as the

rapture or the catching away of believers. And I hope you know the Lord Jesus.

I hope you're ready for him to come.

I hope you're looking for him to come, loving his appearing.

There's a renewed emphasis in our world today among believers on the discussion of prophecy.

Now, I must confess to you that I have never been as strong on prophecy as I should be,

because Scripture is filled with prophetic teaching.

The Lord Jesus often gave prophetic statements.

We've come now in our journey with Jesus to Mark chapter 13 to one of his final discourses,

one of his final messages, and in this particular message, he concentrates on the

prophetic. He's looking ahead. Now remember, he's about to go to the cross. So here he is, at the

end, telling us about a new beginning. Here he is, at the end of his own earthly life, telling us

how the end of all things is going to come about
