Welcome back to the coffee and Bible Time podcast.

For those that may be listening for the first time, our podcast is an offshoot from our main platform YouTube.

Our channel is called Coffee and Bible Time,

where our goal is to help people delight in God's Word. We also have a website and storefront

with Bible studies, prayer journals, and more. I'm Mentor Mama, and today I have two guests

joining me, Chris and Elizabeth McKinney, to discuss how we can be the hands and feet of Jesus right in our own neighborhoods.

In fact, to be made in the image of God includes this idea that we were created for relationship, for community, and for neighbors.

So before we start, I'd like you to do a self-reflection for just a moment.

How are you doing at loving your neighbors?

Let's think about this.

How well did you love your

neighbors before the pandemic? How did you do during the pandemic? So, okay, so let's

acknowledge whatever that looked like, good, bad, or indifferent. I know for me personally, I found this

exercise convicting. I have room most definitely for improvement and being more intentional,

loving my neighbors. So now that life is getting a little bit more back to normal,

praise God, I'm suggesting that we hit

the reset button and learn from our amazing guests on how we can have a simple and sustainable
