I am absolutely convinced that Jesus came that we would have life and life abundant.

And I found that as I followed Jesus now for many years, that the way in which I apprehend that abundant life is by cultivating

a lifestyle of confession and repentance. You know, maybe in certain circles or in the broader

culture these concepts have a bad rap, but I want to tell you that confession and repentance

are gifts because what they do is they not only position us to receive

mercy and grace from God which he so is willing to lavish upon us but it actually positions us

to receive fresh revelation of what he's really like who we are in him and what he's promised to do in us, through us,

and for us.

And so I bless you as you listen, that your faith would be nurtured and nourished,

that you'd be strengthened, and that you would find fresh zeal and boldness

to more fully embrace a life of confession and repentance.
