Welcome to our Tuesday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth. Today is my seventh program

teaching through living in the balance of grace and faith. This is one of the

well this is the very first book that I ever wrote.

It's one of the revelations that God gave me probably 40 something years ago.

It's a foundational truth and it's something that is missing in most people's lives.

Most people tend to focus on grace or faith but not a combination of the two.

And like I said, I taught on this all last week and then again yesterday.

And so I've already covered a lot of material and I can't go back through it.

But this is, it's really important.

I just am trying to stress that it is essential that you understand this.

Grace is what God does for us, independent of us. Faith is our positive response to what he has done by grace.

If you don't combine those, if you don't put faith in what God has already done,

if you think faith is something you are doing to gain a positive response

from God then that's not Bible faith and that's the reason that so many people

aren't receiving. God is not going to give you what you

deserve. If he gave us what we deserve we would all go to hell. God by grace

has provided everything completely independent of our performance.

But does that mean that we have nothing to do with it?
