Faith only appropriates what God has already provided.

You aren't trying to get God to do anything.

It's not about God giving, it's all about you learning how to receive.

And once you understand that, it makes the Christian life so simple, it reduces it down to just something to where all you got to do.

This is the reason you study the word,

not in order to earn a star that you can turn in for an answer to prayer. It's not going

to earn you any favor with God. You're studying the word so that you can learn what

he's already done, what God has already provided, so that you can learn about your great

salvation. And as you learn about it, faith just rises up on the inside and you begin to start believing God.

Man, it's infinitely better.

This will give you peace in your relationship with God.

And you know what? you

believe God has probably be still be some things that you believe God has provided by

grace that you aren't seen come to pass in your life, but when that happens, instead of you saying,

God, what's wrong? How come you healed this other person, but you haven't healed me? And instead of

you getting bitter and angry at God, I tell you, I have people come to me and say I'm just angry at God because

he failed to do this. I don't even relate to that. God's never failed to do anything. If anything failed it was me that failed to
