If we start changing the names on buildings, then every single building would be named Jesus Christ based on perfection.

Children are not mistakes. Yes, children may be surprises. Yes, the adults who have conceived the child may be wrong in their sexual behavior,

something we're going to need to deal with, but children aren't mistakes.

It almost feels in many quarters in the United States as though

the church is the last refuge of sanity and decency,

and it is the only place in the world that actually has the truth,

because we have Holy Scripture to guide us.

You know, American Christianity, they want to make being born again very much a matter of my

inner feelings and my desires and it's like, okay, you're a Christian, where are you a born again

Christian? Well, the only kind of Christian there is are people

who are born again. And we're born again by the operation of the spirit. And how do I know I have that?

Well, because I've been baptized. I'm a harvest in Arkansas, and I love issues, et cetera.

We live in an age of interesting paradoxes or contradictions, perhaps is a better word, certainly not just cognitive dissonance.

How can we live in a world where each person believes that they can create their own truth, kind of spin it up out of nothing from within, and that everyone's truth is relative,

and yet at the same time be so fiercely moralistic. That's our age, a moralistic age.

And the only question is what morality is being imposed and by whom?
