Today I'm going to talk about humility.

It's something that I'm sure we've hit many times at the church,

but it's just something that I feel like we always need to be aware of.

We want to be humble because Jesus was humble. He's the goal.

He's what we want to model our life after. I don't want you to model your life after me.

You shouldn't model your life after Michael. You shouldn't model your life after your favorite

preacher that you see on a podcast. I mean, if we're following Christ, of course, like Paul said, follow us as we follow Christ.

We should be pointing you to Jesus.

But we want you to model your life after Jesus.

And in a world where I'm seeing so much selfish ambition, and it's something that all of us

deal with, I deal with it.

I mean, if we are being honest, I think every human, because

we're made of flesh, we all want to be seen, we want to be noticed, we want to be liked,

we want to be accepted. And I'm not saying that that's bad to want to be loved and liked.

It's it's human nature to crave fellowship with other people and to be loved.

But the goal is to be humble and walk in humility. And Jesus, our master, our Savior,

he just did that so beautifully for us. And I really want to hit on that today,

because if we want to go deeper in the ways of the Lord,

and just like Michael's been saying that this summer is going to be a great time of deep walk with the Holy Spirit,

and I really believe it's going to be a harvest where we're going to see so many beautiful things this summer at church.
