Good morning and a very warm welcome to Who's Tom and Dick on this Friday morning? I hope you're all well.

So what are we going to do today? A few months ago, I'm probably nearly two years ago,

in fact, both Martin and I met a guy called Ian Truschall, who was suffering from stage

four bowel cancer. And sadly, 18 months ago now, he passed away. And his story was quite close

to Martins. And we didn didn't feel or I didn't feel

that it was right to broadcast this story while Martin was battling his stage 4 cancer.

It does sort of run parallel with what Martin was going through.

But unfortunately Ian had lost his battle last year,

and I felt maybe it was a little bit too raw to broadcast or complete.

So I've done that this week. I've gone back to Ian Trussell's story.

And I've put an interview together with Ian, and I hope you enjoy this.

And I hope it inspires you to get checked out, because it's quite obvious that early detection saves lives.
