Today's talk is a special Sabbath encouragement from Pastor Dan Watson.

Hey, it's so good to be with you as we continue our Sabbath journey together.

I don't know about you, but if you ever been on one of those family vacations that was

meant to be restful, but instead of being restful, you came back more exhausted than when

you went.

Just March this year, me, my wife, Joe, and our four kids, we went back to London to

go and see family and chill and rest and have a good time. By the time we came back to

Atlanta and we walked through our front door, we knew that we needed a vacation from our vacation.

We were tight. It was not restful one little bit. I don't know if you've ever had those moments,

but isn't that so often how we view rest?

Do we see it as a temporary break? Like a moment or just a pause when life finally lets up.

But in the scripture, the Bible tells us that rest is not momentary. In fact, rest is a lifestyle.

I want to read from Hebrews chapter 4 verses 9 to 11 real quick.

It says this, there remains then a Sabbath rest for the people of God.
