As we've studied the life of Joseph with Scott Pauli, we've learned that this study isn't necessarily about Joseph,

but instead about the God who was with Joseph, even in the darkest of circumstances.

As you look at your own circumstances through the eyes of faith, do you recognize God's

presence?

Oh, that we could learn to live in the presence of God.

Did you know that young people get old? I'm here to testify today. It happens quicker than

you might imagine. There are a wide variety of people listening to this broadcast.

At every age and stage in life, and those who've lived a little while are saying a hearty amen, and perhaps some of you that are younger think, oh, that's way off in the distance

for me.

But the reality is life moves on.

And like a speeding train, it picks up speed as it moves forward. That's just life.

Don't wish your life away. I was just having this conversation recently with some friends that

it's funny how when you don't see people for a while, they're frozen in time. In your mind,

in your memory, you see them perpetually the same age. Well, I think oftentimes we do that

with Bible characters. For example, if I said to you, tell me about Joseph. Well, immediately, the mental

picture that comes to everyone's mind is a 17-year-old boy with his father's coat of many colors,

being sold into slavery, on a camel on his way to Egypt, and we see him as a young man perpetually.

But I want to remind you that no one stays young forever.

We've come in our study, I can't believe this, but we've come in our study to the last

chapter of the book of Genesis.
