Go with me to Romans, please, the first chapter.

Romans 1.

We began some weeks ago on a series we're calling Living by Faith.

And we're big on faith around here, as you might have gathered from it being written on the building and on the signs and things like that.

But it's because we're convinced God himself is very, very big on faith.

In fact, if you want to please him in any element or area part of your life, there is no other way, except to do what you do,

from, of, with, and by faith.

Anybody interested in pleasing God in your life?

Then you've got to be interested in faith.

In Romans of first chapter, verse 15,

Romans 1 15, Paul said by the Spirit, as much as in me is,

I'm ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.

And I'm ready to preach the gospel to you at Sarasota. And Branson, I know a little bit

about how he feels, I think. Verse 16, I'm not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. Now, if you were

ashamed in any shape, form, or degree, you wouldn't be ready, would you?

To preach it.

If you don't speak it with confidence, it's not going to inspire confidence.

Ministers that are with me and listening.

This is something the Lord showed me when I first began, 35 years ago, I guess, in the ministry,

the Lord showed me that the people's response is a reflection of me if I'm the one ministry.

If I'm not excited about it, there's not likely you're going to be.

Right?
