a lot of our key characters struggle to survive. At the end of the last show, Prince John, son of King Henry II, had come to Ireland hoping to establish himself as overlord.

The Norman Lords, led by Hugh de Lacy, the Lord of Meath, had completely out Foxed him, and by December 1185, John's plan had unraveled
