I love this series and I love starting this year around the idea of habit.

We all have them and just in case you just showed up today our lives are the product of

our habits.

You know, Ovid, we talked about him, this Roman poet, he said nothing is stronger than

habit.

In other words, we're a goal setting, dreaming generation and that's we should be.

We're adjournaling pictures for our lives generations and we should be but our lives are

not the product of our dreams or not the product of our vision, they're not the product

of our journaling, they're the product of our habits.

We make our habits and then our habits make us.

And so whatever you are, whatever I am is not a mystery, it is actually the aggregation

of all the habits of my life, the good ones and the bad ones.

And so what we wanted to say in these first few weeks of the year is that, you know, we

want to become a different person.

If we want to become the person God wants us to become and I think we all do, then

we have to onboard the habits that allow us then to become the person that God wants

us to become.

So we're not going to just be able to say God, I really want to be everything you want

me to be and then keep all the habits we have in our lives right now because our habits

are possibly going to make us into something different than what God really wants us to

be.
