I want to talk about living a virtuous life.

And this has been in my heart for a while.

It's kind of put together to notes in the last minute.

But I just really feel like how many no character matters?

And I think that there's a lot of theology and philosophy that circulates through the church, different seasons and time,

where it becomes, we so emphasize grace that we take away personal responsibility.

I think whenever you emphasize grace to the place that you take away personal responsibility, you have a different gospel.

That went over good and this is good Friday.

So it's okay, you can shout on Sunday.

Sometimes, you know, we go through these seasons where we think, well, it's all about God.

And I do believe that there isn't anything that we can do.

Jesus even said, I can do nothing except, I see my father doing it.

And in John 15, he said, without me, you can do nothing.

And so we know that there is nothing we can do without God.

But it is true that God does require us to do something once He gives us the power to do something.

That was so deep.

We were created for good works in Christ Jesus.

I was just reading in Thessalonians where Paul writes to the Thessalonians and he says, if a man doesn't work, he'll either let him eat.

Well, that doesn't sound very graceful.

And what I'm getting at is that we have responsibility in the body of Christ.

And whenever you take grace and you extend it to the place where we no longer have any, we no longer have anything to do with where we're going or the reward we get, that's not the gospel of the kingdom.

How many of you know that Jesus is coming back and his rewards with him?
