0:39.6	living a regenerative lifestyle how did just how did that play out?
0:43.9	How did that come to be the case and what was that like?
0:47.4	Yeah, so that it sounds a little odd when someone would tell you someone's
0:51.3	been living off-grid since they were seven years old.
0:54.6	So technically I've been actually living on my own and mostly off-grid since I was about
0:59.5	12.
1:00.5	I've been experimenting with turning light bulbs and old batteries to light my room and
1:09.4	making different things wiring up solar panels before solar panels were really known about.
1:14.2	I'm in my 50s now.
1:15.7	So it wasn't a real thing there, but I didn't want to have electricity, so I wanted my room to be
1:20.9	the tail light out of the car that was going to the dump and the battery
1:24.8	that still had enough energy with it where we found a solar panel.
1:28.1	Wow, a solar panel was like $500 back then for a 50 watt panel.
