I want to invite you to turn in your Bibles to the book of Ephesians where on Sunday mornings

we're going through this epistle, chapter by chapter and verse by verse. And today we're

going to begin in chapter four, verse one, and we're going to make it all the way through

verse one.

So if you're able, could you please stand and you can follow along as I read.

If not, that's all right where you're seated is fine.

The Apostle Paul is writing and by the Holy Spirit says, verse one,

as a prisoner for the Lord then,

I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.

Would you pray with me? Loving Heavenly Father, we are so thankful to you for your word. Lord, today we need for you as only you can to by the Holy Spirit get our attention.

And once you have our attention, keep our attention, so that we can remain focused

on you and that which you have for us today, that which you desire to speak into our

lives today. That's why we're here, Lord. So will you speak?

Your servants are listening. We ask this in Jesus name. Amen. And you can be seated. Thank you.

So I want to talk to you about what it means to live a real Christian life. I actually was going to title today's teaching really living a real Christian life.

And I sort of changed it thinking, well that's kind of redundant, but then when I started thinking about it, it's actually not really redundant because living the real Christian life is really living.

Let me try that again.

You know, it's interesting because sometimes when I say things and prepare to say things,

they don't come off the way that I want them to come off.

So I'm going to try this again and say the same thing a different way.

You haven't really lived until you've lived the real Christian life.

There, that was, thank you Lord. Listen, I always ask the Lord for help and he always helps me because I think he feels sorry for me and says, this pastor needs a lot of help,
